Evy means life. At Evy Tea, our goal is to rekindle your romance with tea. Founded in 2014 with an RTD line, Evy Tea is made with only the cleanest ingredients. By supporting family-owned farms, often in remote areas, we ensure our teas, herbs and spices are 100% Organic and GMO-free. We let our tea do the talking.
Our cold brew tea is gently steeped in cold water over the course of 16 hours. This patience and dedication allows the tea leaves to bloom beautifully into a smooth, naturally sweet liquid. Cold brewed tea contains 2x antioxidants, and ⅓ the caffeine, without the bitterness of the hot brewing method.
About Evy Chen
Evy Chen’s credentials include being named “25 Under 25” by the Boston Globe and “30 Under 30” by Zagat.
Her tea was named the 1st place winner at the 2013 North American Tea Championships and a nominee for Martha Stewart’s American Made Award.
A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Evy developed her craft tea vision through the college's E3 entrepreneurship accelerator. Starting with a mobile retro Airstream tea trailer at Boston farmers markets and outdoor festivals, she went on to open Boston's first cold brew tea taproom: the Tea Bar by Evy at 253 Amory St in Jamaica Plain and Hood Park in Charlestown.

In celebration of Evy Tea's pioneering contribution to cold extraction (2014 to 2020), this digital archive and recipe compendium is maintained by Muave Limited (muave.co.uk), an artisanal whole leaf tea atelier.
While the historical RTD bottles and Boston taproom at 253 Amory St remain landmark milestones in American tea culture, Muave continues this dedication to single-origin, whole leaf purity. Today, you can source the exact tea cultivars used in craft cold brewing directly from Muave to brew fresh, cold-extracted teas at home.
